Does the chip code have to be exactly that? Mine is C2FA0090.

I like to know this as well.

Yeah but apparently you can only get online with registered friend codes so that's nothing I can test on the fly, I only know 3 people with a 3DS and nobody plans on getting the game on release.

Maybe we could use this thread to exchange codes for fantasy life and I (and others who may need) can test if our current headers work?

You can, it works the same as using a regular cartridge on multiple systems. They just need to be using the same header.

Aside from one odd desynch issue (that's on my end), it worked for all us 3 posting.

I used the public MGS 3D header, by the way.

it would be a lot easier if they just allow players to just connect to anyone instead of only people on your friend list

and don't know if it's just me.... when I first talk to the guild person for multiplayer, some dialouge pop up in Japanese asking me to set parental control setting... and I own a NA console....

multiplay is fun, and easier to gain experience

yeah, that would be a much better method of playing online. perhaps they limited it to friends so completely open chatting could be enabled.

it did the same thing to me and forced me out of gateway mode to do it, after that, it hasn't happened again.

and gaining exp is definitely much easier when Steena is level 14 and kills everything haha

yeah you know how nintendo is with "online features", always trying to make it difficult for us
about the online gameplay, you just have to change the header like any other normal rom, right?
i'm about to download it and try to go online in a few minutes

I'm going to wait till the US version comes out. No point in me playing the EUR version and suddenly a patch is needed for online.
