Hacking Gaming Unable to play Smash Bros online

So lately I’ve region-changed my 3DS (EUR2JPN), and everything else went successfully. Thing is now I cannot access online services in Smash Bros.

I get the prompt about accepting the Terms of Service, I tap „Agree” just to get greeted with „You will not be able to play online without agreeing to the Nintendo 3DS Service User Agreement”

Mind you, I won’t be in despair if it’s not fixable, but a solution will be appreciated.

Is it because my 3DS has been region-changed or is it because the game is the EUR version while the console is now JPN?

Sadly, didn't work, same error.

I'm not sure but would it work if I tried with a JPN copy of Smash?

Well in your case you didn't region changed correctly, you need two 3ds of the same region to gain access to eshop and online service after region changing.

figured out actually I had to install JPN version of smash to get it back working
