The cheapest / easiest chips that work with DMS/D2A/D2B are Wiikey, or free-clip (program it yourself with YAOSM).

D2Pro9 and Wasabi will work on the older chips, but they cost a lot more and seem to generally be more buggy. If it were me, I'd just go for wiikey.

DMS and D2B are very similar, any chip that works with one will work with the other these days.

If it's on the verge of being a DMS it won't have cut pins. They didn't start doing that until much much later.

Also I would prefer to use a Wiiclip as well I don't want to solder. Suggestions? Thanks.

EDIT: Well it also might be a GC2-D2B according to this website: http://wiitracker.nintendo-scene.com/search.php

did it say if you have cut pins? because some d2bs have them and if that's the case you'll need a d2pro9 and the corresponding wii-clip

No it said the pins are most likely not cut.

Shipping is $9.95 to the US or $8.95 in Canada. Orders within Canada take 1-3 business days to arrive

If you have a likely DMS, it will either by DMS or D2A.
Since you want a solderless solution, definitely go with the Wiiclip, but look at the Free Clip and program it with yaosm. The only reason I say this, is the Wiikey team have stopped providing updates and yaosm is still being updated.
If you do decide on this solution, you will need a serial port on your computer to program the Free-Clip but this is pretty easy. I had a DMS and used Free Clip with Yaosm and I've never regretted it.
