--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
I'm using EdiZon 3.0.1, no BID displayed here
thanks bro, that solved my problem with the build ID =)The nightly shows BID, latest official build doesn't.
I had the problem with ram scanning not working but going back a couple days to the older build I used worked fine.
Try using build d86c972 from buildservNX, that one works for me and has the new features, including BID.
Either TitleID or Build ID is different for your game, if everything is set up correctly then that's the only thing I can think of. Unless you mean you can see the cheats in edizon but they aren't working in game it could be a version/update problem. I tried using stardew valley cheats but none of them work on the latest update.okay im having the same problem, i have the cheats directly from the update from edizon and it is not showing up at all when i run the game.
idk if its something i missed or wrong setup but here is my setup and problem game:
Edizon 3.0.1, Atmosphere 0.8.9 (Latest one) FFXII 1.1.0
You mean you matched the BID to the name of the cheat file, or that the cheats are for the exact same version of your game? Because matching the BID just makes the codes show up.The cheats are there in the SD card after I update edizon but they do not show up when I go into the game.
I have verified with the nightly build of edizon that the game I have and the cheats are the same build

If they are proper cheats and still don't work, then it's probably because cheats are for v1.1 but you're running v1.5 for example, and the pointers have moved)
If not, then it's probably what Retroboy was saying, I think that's actually why most the cheats I downloaded didnt work either.
The address changes each time the game boots, so if cheats aren't finding the pointers then they are trying to change values at an address that no longer exist or has different values in it this time.
So I guess you've just got to get lucky with codes since there's not exactly a good source for them, or at least not solely for ones that work.
That or find the address yourself but just know that you'll need to do that everytime you restart the game.
(you'll notice this if you find an address for hp, change the value to 999, then close and re-open the game. The address will still be in edizon as your latest scan result, but now that value will probably be 0)
Forget all of that. The bid matches with the game version.
The cheats came from edizon update so I'll check more when I'm home
Forget all of that.
A very high number of switch games and trust me its nearly all.
They use dma which means you boot the game you can find the address for health or say money but as soon as you quit, close and boot again the memory changes.
The code no longer works.
This is highly likely your issue if you say your title id and build id and base version is the same that the codes were made.
For example ive recently only come back to making codes to look at resident evil titles and have released some codes (check signature).
But even this has dma for codes like infinite health and ammo, unlike others i wont release them if they dont work.
And as most codes are made within sx os the general public has no access to tools to find the pointers.
I have reported this to xecuter that it needs to be a high priority update because as its cheat feature is now its half arsed and not worth it really.
Like on the 3ds you would have a tool, find your code make note of the address and do a memory dump.
Close game so your code no longer works and find it again, make note of the address and do another dump.
Using the tool you could open each dump and put the address from each one and it woule scan the dumps to find the pointer code.
This is what we need to ensure switch codes get better.
This was the reason why i stopped making codes for tue switch because it can be a lenghty process (and often get black error screen if im to use ftp to test codes) and theyre dma most of the time.
I came back to do re titles because these games are basically the same as on other systems so once you get a base code to start off with you can find nearly anuthing else simply looking at it in memory editor.
heard that there is a limit of how big the cheat file is, try delete some long non useful cheatsI got the same problem but with pokémon sword TID:
[0100ABF008968000] BID:[
8DAFEDBB5BE81C2C] I was playing normal with cheats but randomly stop reading the cheats, already check the codes several times and change them too but they still don't show up in edizon and it only happens with pokémon the other games like CTR read the cheats just fine.
Im using Atmosphere 0.10.1 SF:9.1.0 tested in Edizon:3.0.1 and 3.1.0-Nightly
