Hacking Noob question Updating WiiU/Vita firmware?

i just got a new vita and a wii U, if i dont care about psp/wii mode hack except for native Vita/wiiu hack is there any reason not to update them to latest firmware now? i mean i dont want to be like i did with 3DS and upgrade pass 4.5 but if there is no progress on the hacking them i may just upgrade to the latest fw

ps does WIIU homebrew allow cheats like inf money on wiiu game or wii only?

:P Both are not possible yet... so there is no reason to hold back updates that are needed to play the games you want. Just don't always update the firmware trough the auto update feature.

    There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

    Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
