I am experiencing several issues with my soft mod. I have all emulators installed so I can pretty much play any old game I want. However, I want to use emu nand with either usbloadergx or wiiflow, whichever is easier to set up and honestly I've been at it for 5 days and nearly sleepless nights and am still unable to play and have used numerous tutorials. Also, I am able to play most Wii games but no GameCube, which is something I have to be able to do. I've had breakthroughs with both loaders for the emunand but things were never quite right so I keep reading and rebuilding. No matter how hard I search I have some questions that I just can't find. First, usbloadergx will only recognize my usbdrive when I launch from inside MMM. The channel says something along the lines of " can't find usb drive" and it unticks the fourth button "Wii" games from what it shows. This happened after I dumped emunand I don't know if they are related but need to find out. Question 1) how do I uninstall usbloadergx completely so I can reinstall it and launch the forwarder? I tried to manually take it off the SD card but several of the files, the game stamp time and another, won't allow access. Maybe I'm going about it the wrong way and there is a better way I would love to know! 2) what is the absolute, easiest, 100% method I can use to play my wiiware and VC wads and also Wii and GameCube games? Should I start over? I'll do anything at this point that the experts think is best. I have used modmii several times to update everything. Modmii WILL NOT work for making the emunand for sneek it says it can't find an internet connection but everything else downloads fine. 3) on my SD card, in the apps folder, there is a folder d2x cIOS Installer v3.1. that folder is saying it is 402 gb. Inside the folder are 316 files that can't be opened and have crazy names like ", please no" and "per who.sup" and "rohead).(so". What in the world is this file and how do I get rid of it? Also, my SD card is only 2gb! 4) can I just completely redo my SD card put back all the files except this last one in question 3 and the usbloadergx file? 5) and last I promise, I have installed bootmi into boot2, it says it was a success, but it doesn't load into bootmi or have a bootmi launcher in the Homebrew channel. I would like to make a backup but I can't load bootmi.
My soft mod at this time is completely updated through modmii, newest homebrew channel, 4.3u menu, I ran syscheck and the only thing it said I needed was bootmi and HBC. These forums have been so helpful thank you everyone in advance for any input even if you can answer just one or a few questions.
**Update. I have everything working EXCEPT I still cant play GameCube games which is one of my three main reasons for hacking the Wii. I fixed the issues by repairing my SD card, uninstalling and reinstalling the apps I had trouble with. So now, my only question is what is the number one absolute easiest way to play GameCube games on Wii? I've tried dios mios and nintendont without success. With nintendont I get "error 13" it doesn't seem to be able to read my USB cruzer 64 gb flash drive. I followed all guides, I know the GameCube games are ripped correct and that my hard drive is formatted correctly as said in the guides. Very disappointed no one could take a few minutes out to help with the last questions but maybe writing it out inspired me to try another way to fix it
