Oh balls, i don't have any wifi here, which ios files need to be downloaded? I have NUS already.
If you don't have wifi, don't patch the IOS. Simply install priiloader and that's it.

Dumb question, but I need a quick answer:

How do I use cheat using retail Gamecube games?

I've downloaded the correct .gct files and set them in the right spot, but for some reason, no loader is picking it up.
I tried using GeckoOS, NeoGammaR7 Final, and R8 final.

Thanks for reading.

Download the latest R9 Beta and enable gamecube cheats.
@robink93:
I don't think so, sorry...

I've got that just now, thank you for the link.

The codes don't seem to work, through NeoGamma is finding it. Another thing, while running the game, the video is half an inch to the left. So... the screen's sort of like this [|||+] The plus represents the blank space, while the lines would be the game playing.

I would say wrong region. Try to change the gamecube video mode.

You are still not able to install priiloader with the homebrew channel?
Haven't tried to hold B when installing, but the error stills show up.

I've managed to fix the video problem, but codes (on a number of games) still aren't working no matter the hooktype.

Thank you for the help though.

I hacked my cousins Wii. It's a pre-2008 Wii, so BootMii is installed in boot2, and the system menu is vesion 3.2E. All I need to know is if the Trucha Bug is already present. I'm asking because he wants a backup loader, and is wondering if he can play burned discs without a backup loader (I've told him I don't think so, but I ohnestly don't know :S )

MMKay...... I'm not a noob here, but I am a noob when it comes to SNEEK...

Wii: 4.0U, HBC 1.0.7, Preloader 0.29 (ya, oldskool), cIOSCORP: A few IOSes are from an old version of it, BootMii Boot2, not much else worth mentioning.

I want to get SNEEK working, but I'm a bit scared of messing up and I want a clear step-by-step guide to go by.

Thanks!
Your Friendly Neighborhood Egg.

edit: When this is in use, there is absolutely no way to ruin my Wii under 'normal' curcumstances, correct? Also, is there a way to transfer EVERYTHING I have done in SNEEK back to my Wii's NAND if I choose to?

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
