stop the hait.
it looks samazing! cant wait to get my copy :D i love to have game as rom on sd and not have to install sutpid CIAS, i jus hope roms are drag and drop in computer and not have to be custom "wirte" program such as the sky 3 ds!
If that's what you want why not buy a second hand Sky3DS orange button for cheaper? Nobody wants them so you could probably pick one up for like $30 or less.

Wow you must be living under a rock.
Orange button sky3ds (sky3ds+) is just pure drag and drop...
I would say I know about 3ds stuff, I have a gw, blue button sky3ds, etc, I didn't know there was an orange button sky that was drag and drop, and I don't live under a rock. lol

thats funny i got a GW and sky3ds blue button also. Dont know why im holding them, maybe for nostalgia or see what release might eventually come out for gateway. After b9s ive only spent money on larger sd cards.

If drag and drop roms really matters, why don't gateway just releases a homebrew that reads them from their cart while running CFW then? The cart is obsolete and mostly useless, cheats and dnd roms are one of the only reasons to still use it.

They gotta have some nerve presenting a new card while spreading week after week lies about "big Gateway update coming soon".

Well I'm probably a bit late to the discussion but heh. Answering to the guy who asked why p&p wasn't implemented in GW, probably the old gateway hardware can't be updated to support it I think, I don't know how much update-able it is so who really knows.
Btw stargate ds mode 3ds rom forwarder looks great to me, 2 flashcarts in one :toot:

But one of its main selling points is that it let's you install cfw on any fw, which makes the whole 3ds roms part meaningless. It's 50 dollars extra for something you won't use.

Assuming you WANT to install cfw... there's a not too small number of people who don't want to for any kind of reason

Well we can only hope that with the help of Stargate that they will release it also for Gateway.
This could mean that Gateway will be also for 11.6 ofw.

They're paranoid, and they dont quite understand what a cfw is and how it differs from an ofw. This just gives them more incentive to not pursue the topic.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare

@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
