Hacking New to the PS Vita Scene

Hi,
I'm planning to buy a PS Vita next month. So I've decided to use HENkaku when I'll get it. The problem is that I also want to use Adrenaline to play PSP games on it. So basically, I need a demo of a PSP game to run it? But the problem is that I need to access the PSN to download the software. So how can I activate my PS Vita on a lower firmware? I've heard of a tool called Vita-Activator. And how can I get a PSP demo to install Adrenaline?

Your only choice is to use a PS3 to activate and transfer a PSP demo that way.

VitaActivator broke when PSN spoofing broke, so none of those methods available will work. The only way to activate now is via a PS3

But I could still play Vita Games without having it activated, right?

Yes, Vita backups are fine without activation. Just PSP mode stuff needs activation for whatever reason.
