After I had technical issues I resorted to having to use a backup. I had the backup before I updated so nintendo didn't ban my system at that time. When I used my system I found everything working and quickly turned off the send data to nintendo thing in my internet settings and show if friends are online on friends. I checked if I could go onto my eshop, internet, badge arcade etc. and everything was working. Other than the ban notice glitch on my friends whenever I go onto the application, everything was working. I wanted to tell you guys if this can actually fix the ban or if its just my console being weird which technically shouldn't because nintendo banned my NNID... If you have a backup and wouldn't mind trying you should probably try this, not confirmed if it works though... or i'm just stupid...

Can you play online? I don't think Badge Arcade is affected by the ban.

What is that "friend glitch" you're talking about?
The glitch is like when I get on the friend application, the ban poppup comes up only on friends application

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ok I checked 20minutes later now its all banned ;( rip that was so weird, I guess we have to go with the serial number switch if we want our internet back :P Also I was wondering, even though its kinda impossible can we remove the ban using arm or boot hacks? And if that cant work, is it possible for the CFW guys to create an alternate server that we can connect to?

Oh man, I just finished copying the NAND backup to the PC. I made one just now in case this restore failed. I do think this helped, only in that according to my folder naming, my last NAND backup was January 24, meaning I did a NAND restore there, not February, I kept saying I did initial setup on February, I ended up having to format the system, there was when I disabled Spotpass because that's what I do by default after setup. So yeah, it was off for 4 months, not 3, and I still got banned. Friends List app again was enabled, the show titles thing. Sigh. Ah well, needed a new backup anyways.

sorry for making this post right off the bat ;D its starting to become a misleading title (or it already was :P) although im sure there are those who would study their heads hard until it hurts just to get internet on the 3ds ;D there are methods out there but im sure its not worth the time :P

I thought badge arcade and browser were not affected by this kind of ban, only online play and friend list
