My problem: I want to have more than 3 profiles for NSMB (we are 5 persons in our family). Is there a way to modify a copy of the game so that is use an other savegame and duplicate the number of profiles? If yes, I will change it for several games.

Or use the PAL version of the game and the NTSC version and then you can have a total of 6 profiles.

yea but that requires you have the game saved on the HDD twice, and takes up twice as much space.
If it were me then I would find that as being the easiest solution, especially for my kids to just quickly choose one. It's only 360mb, which is not much, but if someone is REALLY anal then yeah having it take up twice the amount of space is not a good thing.

Space is no problem. I have a 500GB drive an only about 80GB games.
I've tested it with animal crossing and NSMB and it works perfect for me.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

You need the $900 copper coated ones, they are good for 10 times cooking before they are un cleanable
