missing titles on Nintendo shop

I see there seems to be missing titles on eshop for the wiiu when using any of the tools out there. Just to site a few

Is there a reason for this? Did they come out after the shutdown?

Most likely up to rights. If they aren't there it's probably because the publisher had to take them down because of license rights.

Animal crossing Plaza, Animal crossing: Amiibo festival and animal crossing: Wild World are there. The original animal crossing is a Nintendo 64 game, not a Wii U game, so not sure what you're even asking here.

Here's a list of games: http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Title_database - just look at the "Available on CDN?" row: When it's not on the CDN NUSspli or similar tools can't download it (and when you can't find a game at all on that database then it was never a Wii U game to begin with, like the original animal crossing). Now ofc. I don't know all the games on your list, so it's up to you to see why the games aren't on Nintendos servers but most of the times such games where disc only releases.

//EDIT: Then again tools like Wii U Download Helper didn't update their internal game database since decades, so they miss a lot of newer releases. Use tools still maintained today like Wii U Downloader or NUSspli to get all games available on the NUS / CDN.

Okay, there's something wrong... Seach for the word "amiibo" and it should show up but with a search for "animal crossing" it's somehow not found... Will investigate more later but for now you have a workaround.

Yeah, that. And no, both digital & physical Wii U games from anywhere are fine on Aroma. Digital only for Tiramisu however. Also it's been awhile but I think you'll need those nintendo figures for Animal Crossing Festival to work.

It's probably region free but just wrongly stated at the title database (which NUSspli uses as its base, too).

No, it's not a bad idea to install out of region games: Worst thing that could happen is that they won't run but you can just uninstall them if that happens, no?
Installing out of region system titles (like the Wii U menu itself) is what bricks your console! Installing just games can't do harm.
