Hacking miniSD problem

Ok guys,

Im totally newbie at this thing, pls help. I bought a miniSD 1G for my GBA (from a shop, not from an individual). When bought there are hundreds of NES games and 20+ GBA games inside already. They all can play fine, also ok memory left in the card - like few hundred Mbytes. The thing is: when I try to copy new GBA games into the card, they can load, but after that all white blank screen.

I myself guess that my firmware is not that updated. But anyway pls help to advice. Thanks

depends what flash cart you are using, but many need to be save patched before they will play.
you're supposed to use the flashcart client to patch them, and copy them - you can't just file copy them to your SD card.

Sounds like a Supercard. GBA games must be patched with the patcher software before they will run on the Supercard, and you'll want to upgrade your firmware while you're at it as well. Hold L+R upon bootup and press A a few times until it says your current firmware. If it's 1.63, you'll want to upgrade to 1.7 first and then jump to the latest 1.85 version. If it's 1.7, then just install 1.85. Installation will be different depending on whether you have a Supercard Rumble or not. All these downloads can be found on the official Supercard website.

If you have a different device and not a Supercard, then I don't know for certain.

Oh okay, so thats it. After getting a new firmware and the converting software I can play new games already. Thanks to dexmix and Dan

Also, is there any way to play Super NES? (on GBA, DS,...)

On GBA, use Snezziboy or SNES Advance. On DS, use SNEmulDS (or SnezziDS which is still worth a shot).

I'd highly suggest the SNES emus for the DS over the ones for the GBA, but let me know if you need help setting up any of them.
