I think the next Mario Kart day should coincide with the day the patch is released.

or the day after, just so it's easier to make sure everyone has the patch and isn't wasting the day scrambling to get the patch. Plus, it might not be released in the morning. So the day after would be awesome.

Yeah, irc channel is a good idea to challenge someone and discuss about the races done at that moment.
