Hacking Luma3DS ROM games - 3D not working

Hi guys. I recently installed CFW on my Nintendo 3DS XL, following the guide on 3DS Hack Guide website. I got it working successfully, got some games installed, and they play fine. The issue I am having is that the 3D option does not work on any of the ROMs I have downloaded. It still works fine on 3DS Cartridge games, and eShop games. When I slide the 3D slider up while playing the ROM game, it does nothing at all. I have tried this over multiple games with the same results.

Just to provide more info - i downloaded the ROMs off the internet as .cia files, and used FBI to install them. I used the latest update links from the 3DS Hacks Guide website as well.

Can you give some examples? I know some games doesn't have the 3D effect at all, even if you slide the 3D slider all the way up.

Have you tried ROMs from different websites or places? Sometimes they can lack information such as the 3D possibilities.
