^Thanks for that list, probably worth copying those entries across!

The list seems a bit harsh though. Some of the games listed as 'yellow' would be listed as 'green' if it were my choice. With minor graphical issues, I'd say they should be listed as green. I personally only use 'yellow' (or sky blue here on GBATemp) with issues that are prevailent enough that they hinder the playability of the game (the road being broken on Road Rash, for example).

One thing though is that streets of rage runs but it has some fairly noticeable graphic issues

Feel free to edit any entries that I've made if you don't agree with my rating! As long as we all use a common sense approach and explain in the notes, then it doesn't really matter.

In general, with a closed source emulator that's never going to be updated we should overlook small graphical issues. Highlighting as sky blue would be useful if they are issues that we want fixing, but otherwise the bugs should be accepted. Depends how much of an issue you think it is! With the Sonic 3D beta, the graphical corruption is pretty consistant o the extent that it hinders the playability of the game, so I made it sky blue.

Actually I was talking about the rating from the website I found.

Also do you think we should add the flash cart we are using?

I thought the rom was still too big to be played on JenesisDs, even with the trim. I also can give Sonic 2 Knuckles a trim.
I promise S3&K works. It's because of how the patch works - it's not really a trimming patch per say, they patched the Sonic 3 data sans multiplayer stuff into the S&K rom. This results in a rom below 3MB.

The regular S3&K rom (and S2&K rom) is essentially both the Sonic 2/3 rom and S&K rom combined, so there's an awful lot of unnecessary data in there that could be removed.

Oooohhhhh, I forgot about Multiplayer. I'll look into S2&K tomorrow.

That would be greatly appreciated!

I've transferred all entries over from the other list on Pocketheaven. I hope I'm not stepping on anybody's toes by doing that, but there's no point retesting games when there are loads of others to test.

Curiously, that list has Phantasy Star II listed as working. I'll give it a try later.

Sorry for the double post, but Cannon Fodder works with H-INIT enabled! I'm delighted! Brilliant game! :D

The copy I have of PS 2 is a .bin, not a .smd. Most of time time that has been fine, but could be the issue?

I just tried. Phantasy Star II works but only if you enable Hardware INIT and Sprite Masking. This also fixed International Superstar Soccer Deluxe!

Something to try with problem games.

Guess that's my mistake. You are right. I had always been leaving Hardware INIT on Auto. I will watch that from now on.

I also had been leaving the settings at deafult until now. Good to know that some problem games can be fixed!

All Micro Machines games have been upgraded to 'green' status. Enabling Hardware INIT fixed the slowdown with multiple cars. Remember the first Micro Machines game works without any cropping. :)

It really seems like that setting should be enabled by default, it fixes so many games.

Added -

Sonic 3 Complete (hack) - Not working. Rom too large (over 3MB). Use S3&K instead.
Sonic Crackers - Works.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Simon Wai Prototype) - Works.
Pier Solar (beta) - Not working. Rom too large (over 3MB).

Really frustrating that the Pier Solar beta doesn't work. The full game is obviously way too big, but the beta is only a couple of hundred kilobytes over. :(
