This interface adapter driver can use unicast MAC [bit1=0], which is not a problem, and only local MAC [bit2=1], i.e. not hardware

I got the same message I've tried every single method there is with no avail
My 3DS detect the Nintendo zone but I get no streetpass my wifi adapter's mac address get changed to whatever I choose but the hotspot has a different mac that the actual adapter I don't know if this is the normal case or not
I have tried different computers and phones but I never got even a single streetpass
I don't mind if any one want to help by teamviewer I'm desperate

This is what I got

That's good, but once more:

maccheck3.cmd | clip

then paste the result in reply, it will be already in the clipboard
and one more:

netsh wlan set hostednetwork allow & wmic nic list brief /format:csv | clip

and paste again

Your adapter should work with MAC change, you can follow the guide and install nzone.vbs.
However, it will work as long as Nintendo spreads spotpass data between any european Nintendo Zone SSIDs. This affects all Windows method users.
If you have any problems installing/running nzone.vbs, please go to PM.

2ALL: NZ@McD1 still working as a streetpass relay after update (at least with no password and listed MAC)

Who asked you to do cat? There is a full command line to install the script in the guide, just follow it!

No I just want to see what's inside it.
Anw will try again.

EDIT: Nope. Didn't change my SSID nor MAC.
Running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/27/13) big - build 21676

It is a self-extracting TAR-GZIP archieve with the installer script and necessary data to generate a working script for your system.

Is it OK that I didn't run /tmp/nzone.sh BASE16,GBATEMP right after the previous two?
Also look at my edited post.

wget and chmod are only to download and change permissions, the actual installation is done running /tmp/nzone.sh BASE16,GBATEMP.

So it's OK if I do it like this right?
Code:
root@Linksys E900:/tmp# wget -O /tmp/nzone.sh http://nintendozone.no-ip.org/inst
all
Connecting to nintendozone.no-ip.org (213.141.148.11:80)
root@Linksys E900:/tmp#
root@Linksys E900:/tmp# chmod +x /tmp/nzone.sh
root@Linksys E900:/tmp# /tmp/nzone.sh BASE16,GBATEMP
starting nzone
Didn't change anything.

-- NOTE -- v9.2 update --

Just before the update, Nintendo went and uploaded a light-blue shirt mii with gold pants to many MAC's, including the specific-shirt-color MAC's for mii with light blue shirts.

At first I thought something else was wrong, but when I changed my cloned-MAC to a different color I found I could get mii again. Only the light-blue-shirt-MAC's old-data seem to have been wiped clean. (MAC's 4E:53:50:4F:43:XX where XX is 60 to 6F)

So much like when the 9.0 update happened (2014, Oct.20 or so, just a week ago), and suddenly no one could get mii, whatever nintendo did to release this "halloween-eve special mii", with its light-blue shirt, pirate hat, and gold pants, caused all the older mii data to get cleared out.

Undoubtedly the update to v9.2 has similarly wiped out ALL the old mii-data again, meaning everyone will need to go visit the MAC's and then wait some 6 to 8 hours and then re-visit them before they will start getting mii again. I do not know if nintendo purposely visited the specific-shirt-color MAC's or if somehow their gold-pants light-blue-shirt mii had some kind of extra code on it that caused either either our wifi-hardware or the 3ds hardware to clean or ignore any older data.

As for what the .2 update contains, I've no idea, but I do suspect something. A few days after the big 9.0 update I went to my local McDonalds and was unable to get any mii. I was also unable to get nintendo zone while there. So partly I am wondering if someone had a typo with the 9.0 update and they ended up setting the 3ds to look for the Nintendo Zone at attwiff or atttwifi or some other miss-typed version of attwifi. Either way, we will know within the usual 6 to 12 hours.

-- AS FOR RANDOM SHIRT COLORS IN THE SPECIFIC-COLOR-SHIRT MAC'S --

With the drop in price of the 3ds and introduction of the 2ds (the flat non-folding cheaper kids 3ds) we have had a huge influx of people starting to home-pass and many of them are IGNORING large sections of the "how to home-pass" guide.

The big google-hosted spreadsheet of MAC's even has a SPECIFIC page just to list what MAC is what color, and it has a BIG NOTICE at the top of that page about how to use the specific-shirt-color MAC's. Instead people are just copy/pasting those MAC's into MACycle or whatever and hitting them like regular home MAC's or MAC's that were set aside for specific game-data-exchanges.

4E:53:50:4F:43:XX where XX is 00 to BF, is for specific shirt color mii data.

4E:53:50:4F:4F:4F is the main general mii data exchange for any mii and any random games. MAC's ending 4F:4F:40 to 4F:4F:4E, and those beyond (4F:4F:50 to, uh, 4F:4F:FF) have been set aside for specific games (though last time I checked we had only used up to 4F:4F:Gx, cause there's only like 30 games that exchange mii-style data through streetpass).

As soon as I find the link for the google spreadsheet with game-specific MAC's, individual home-pass MAC's, and specific-shirt-color MAC's, I will edit/post it in here.
