Homebrew Gen 2.cia files causing homebrew 3ds to crash

EU pokemon crystal.cia file is causing homebrew to crash. Does anyone know if this is a common thing or maybe i do not have a great file. Pokemon red and blue work but no gen three files from same source work.

As Gen 1 Pokemon games work your probably downloading bad user created CIA's, or have previous bad tickets installed, hard to really say.

Delete all the installed games that don't work, then run tikSweep to clean all the unused / potentially bad tickets from your 3DS.

After that if you buy the Pokemon Gen 1 / 2 games from the Eshop they should at least install and work.

Most of the GBA injects you find to download we're probably created long before it had been figured out how to create an inject with a 128k save and RTC support, that's why i'd personally make your own injects so you know exactly what has been done and you'll have no issues with saves once beating the Elite Four. That's pretty much as close to something official for Gen 3 as you can get on the 3DS.

However if GBA games don't work at all on your 3DS its possible you have messed your AGB_FIRM up at some point. Ideally people need to know more about what you have done to your 3DS in the past if this is the case, what CFW you are using and so on.

I have all the games on a seperate 3ds but i dont want to homebrew that, really only need one gen 1 and one gen 2 game on the homebrewed console so that i could trade to complete pokedex, didnt want to spend more money just to buy the same game i already have. Thanks for the reply i will try this method to fix it
