GBAtemp's backer raffle #1: the results are up!

We are excited to announce our first-ever GBAtemp backer raffle: a lucky draw rewarding the members who have chosen to support us by making a Patreon donation.

As you may have noticed, the total value of those prizes exceeds the amount we've received on Patreon so far. That's because the raffles are not monthly, they're quarterly! Also, please note that while the prizes are really cool for this first raffle, we don't know yet whether the next raffles will have such prizes again (unless Patreons donation continue increasing). Your support will also fund the GBAtemp Bounty which will be announced later this month.

How to enter?
In order to enter you must:
1) be a Patreon backer since June - anyone who became a backer after July 1st is not included since their first payment will be processed in August
2) post in this thread
3) not get banned or suspended until the winners are announced

When's the deadline?
You have one week to enter. This thread will be locked on July 12th.

When will the winners be announced?
Within a few days after July 12th.
We'll do a live stream on Twitch (details here for those who can access it).

DISCLAIMER: I am not (yet) a Patreon supporter.

I was looking to become one and it's stated on the Patreon page that the backers would be "Automatically enter the backers raffle: get free stuff without effort!" which is contradictory to rule number 2 for this raffle saying that you have to post in here...

I'm not looking to cause trouble, just pointing it out incase wording on the rules or on the Patreon page needs to be updated. Good luck to everyone else on this raffle. I hope to participate in the next one.

posting in a thread is so difficult hard.... omg the effort i did to reply in here i can't stand it... /sarcasm (i hope you are just making a joke)
hey, i don't have to fill a 2 minute survey with questions like: "when you will have kids, what will i cook for them to eat tuesday 2nd of october 2029, and will they give the leftovers to the dog?" "how many exactly times did you eat in your life so far, incorrect answers will void your entry in the raffle"
ok, i did too much effort making this post so far, therefore costello did fail.....

here's my entry!

and you know what, if i get the switch i will trade it for a gba and a gamecube with another temper (with some extras to get close to switch value), try my best to put a gbatemp logo in the gba and then make a thread saying how i somehow won it on the raffle >:C

you are correct, however in the meantime some of the backers said they dont want to be automatically entered in raffles.
so we had to change the rules a bit. But rest assured that all backers have been thusly informed, they won't miss it.

    I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
