Gaming Firmware Update Compilation thread / List of Flashcards working on 3DS

[Doozy]

I have the R4i Gold 3DS from r4ids.cn and it is said to be working.. I placed it in my machine and it now says there is an error and I have to power off! What is the process of reviving my flash cart? I have only ever used Wood Firmwares on this Cart. Last Wood Firmware was 1.40 I believe. All help gratefully appreciated and as I'm new to this, can you guide me step by step? Also will I need the usage of another machine because all I can get is a Nintendo DS not another 3DS.

2) The DS you have is great for what you need to do.

1) Yeah the cart has 3DS wrote on in green
2) Is it possible to do on my 3DS without borrowing the other NDS??

I provided instructions in my response to you. It's in a spoiler.
You will have to do it on the DS/DS Lite or an older DSi/3DS unit without the 3.0 update though.

because my 3DS was already 2.2-04.... i updated it to 3.0-5.
Then put the ak2ifw_update_3ds30_DSi143_onDSL.nds file onto my Acekard2i and inserted into my DSL.
Then ran the update.

Inserted the Acekard2i back into my 3DS and works great!

No update yet for the non 3DS card from the r4ids.cn team. Did your card work on 2.2.0-4?

Either way your option, in my eyes, is to buy their new card. They made it specifically to address issues with the Nintendo 3DS.

Damn, I wish I had the foresight to update my DSTwo when I stuck Love Plus on the thing the other day. My adapter just decided to shit out on me and I can't update it without it.
EDIT: Wait, does anyone know if 1.13 changed the version code listed under the Supercard's homebrew browser dealio? It says 1.11, but I seem to recall updating it at some point. Does anyone know if the 1.11 is blocked on this?
