Huh, in the past I had used both the language emulation plugin and the cheat plugin and they never conflicted. Tried it anyway, only left the layeredfs.plg and nothing changed. Tried 3.2-3.4 and it was still the same result.

It is recommended to make a new save. Did you do that? What version of the game are you playing (I know it's the Japanese version but which game)
There are two gamedata.bin.lz files in the folder with the hack for the ntr version. The all paralogues unlocked read me says to replace the gamedata.bin.lz file with the one in the all paralogues unlocked folder. Which one would I replace? The one in the game data folder or the one in the folder named @E from the m folder?
I'll try and start up a new game. I'm playing The Japanese Special edition on the Invisible Kingdom(Revelation) path with the 4.1 fan translation(only on the DLC though, the base game is using the 4.0 translation still)
Maybe it's because you're playing the Revelation path? Can you make a test run (not the entire game, just to where you can see support conversations) through either Conquest or Birthright and see if it worked?
I tried doing the start a new path option and chose Birthright but still nothing changed. I tried starting a whole new game as well(even wiped all my save data) but as I had posted in a different thread doing that brought a whole new set of issues where having the plugin(only the Gay Fates, nothing else) folder caused the game to crash at a specific point(before Felicia/Flora wake you up in chapter 1) so I was forced to remove the plugin temporarily to advance. When I got to chapter 6 I re-added the plugin and chose Birthright but yet again nothing changed.
I just got the NTR version to work. It's even got the green flash and everything to prove it. Can't wait to romance Odin, but first to pair up Felicia and Azura.
Hey why is Lucina the only one of the amiibos who has a voice file and text dialogue when you talk to her in my castle?
Oh and another thing, I married Leo and Takumi before I went to get their children and Takumi can't even talk to his own son. He doesn't have any supports. Why is that?

I was about to dive into learning how to install this mod and hack my 3ds, but with the video kind of outdated and me being in the 11.2 update, I don't know where to start...

So I followed the guide up to the Installing arm9loaderhax page and made it to Section IV step 5, but I did get a black screen. I tried to follow the guide about 9.2.0 ctrtransfer but step 2 of Section I requires me to copy a certain file. But said file is too heavy for my 2gb card, so I'll assume I have to buy a bigger one.
Would I need to do everything from the beginning or can I just copy the files from the old SD to the new one?

I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though

@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
