After beating Revealations, which imo I think is the true route, is there a way to return back to my castle to train units, upgrade buildings, etc. Because you don't save after end game I believe. Help?

After the end game in all routes, you just launch your save as normal. You'll be back before you started Chapter 27+Endgame and it won't look like anything happened, but it'll show that you completed that route on your Castle ID card.
