No... I can't. I keep getting the error code 005-5602, which means that my region is incorrect and the only way to fix it is by going to the original region(US). So.. there's no point in that anymore.

I'm aware of the error, i get eshop working on region changed 3ds's all the time. You just need to do some extra steps but I'm not here to argue so good luck

If you do know a way, could you please tell me? I've tried everything that I know, from formatting the system to using freeshop. Nothing has worked for me.

I was thinking of getting the JPN dectitle key for a dsiware so that I can install it on my region changed old 3ds (JPN now) via freeshop. I thought that installing dsiware on freeshop was considered legit.
Installing a DSiWare title only works through freeshop if your 3ds has previously bought the DSiWare title and nintendos servers match up accordingly

The fact still remains that you can't use a region changed 3ds to system transfer. And there's almost no benefit on making eshop work on a region changed 3DS.

Just did it yesterday with a o3DS to an o3DS XL. The game I chose was Rythmik Rock Edition, and it still showed up as that during the transfer. It was only after I restored the 9.2 backup the system saw it as Sudoku.

Godmode9 is pretty terrifying to go through, but it works.

Hi! i have used Jagged Aliance (eur) with Exidiahax (Sudokuhax is not avaipeople tell me that is the only one avaible in Europe consoles. But, when I try to transfer it, It gives me this error. When It tries to copie the Dsi game to SD It says that It was unable to write it in the 3ds.

I'm getting the same error, but cant find a fix for it all. I'm using Rythmik Rock Edition (EUR) with Exidiahax. I cant even manually transfer the dsiware to the sd card before hand. You might be able to move it with Godmode9 maybe?

I think if you're trying to dsiwarehax your EUR 3DS, just use Soul of Darkness as the dsiware game. I already tried it on 2 consoles and it works fine.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
