Hacking DSiTT to Other Type of Flashcart

I'n wondering, using the R4iTT flashcart, can you, say, put R4 Wood files on it to make it and R4 Wood, or would that not work?

If not, I'm trying to play Inazuma Eleven on the R4iTT, but it keeps deleting the save file because it says it's corrupted. I believe it's the number of saves I make in the game, but is there a fix for this?

Flash cart softwares are often written for specific hardware. In cases where flash cart software from one cart runs on another, it's often because they use the same hardware (for example one team sold their hardware design to another team to use, or straight-up clones like a lot of R4s).

So the answer is "maybe". There's too many damn R4/DSTT clones.
