Well the first i had to do this was a SNES Cia, so maybe is just the games that work for new 3ds only? Some games (all new games) are cryptofixed, that's why you need those seed.

All new games, that are cryptofixed, needs the seed to be decrypted. The seed can be downloaded by visiting the eShop page, or can be downloaded with FBI. Indeed, the seed was a new "security", added with/for the new 3ds.Well the first i had to do this was a SNES Cia, so maybe is just the games that work for new 3ds only?
That's how it works. It only extracts from NAND the save from the last GBA game you played. Why i get only one save file from the gba save extractor?
You released like 6 updates in less than 2 weeks what?A quick one - I just pushed a new D9 release, this time with very minor changes. This will be the D9 version used in @Plailect's new A9LH installation guide. Also: nearing page 200 of this thread !
This tool is the holy grail of a9lhTHIS IS THE BEST TOOL EVER MADE!!!
A feature I'm still waiting on c:Decryp9 + A9lh = GAWD LIKE COMBO!
I do have a question, is it possible to make a cartridge install option, i know there is a Cart dump to cia and 3DS, but it would require enough space on the sd card to dump then the same amount (2X the size of the cia to install) Where it could save room by directly installing from cart without needing 2X space for it? (how you supposed to install those over 1.5 GB on 4GB SD?
I keep forgetting to ask for that xDOh, since you have released so many updates for this program, maybe a decrypt9 updater would be useful
Or better yet a complete a9lh payload downloader updater. Where it has many payloads to download or update the ones you have, and you can choose and assign them to the buttons right from the app. Compatible with Luma or other CFW, since i don't think all them use the same kind of file structure
Okay, everyone, we have a new release. This is, again, a big one, containing various stuff of high public interest. This is new:
Release Note (1): As I know that the new font is not liked equally by everyone, I included an additional release archive compiled with the original font is included. In the future, you will have to compile yourself for custom fonts, but it is not that complicated (see readme).
- GBA VC Save dumper & injector
- NCCH/NCSD -> CIA converter (this converts .3DS files to .CIA) (thanks @ihaveamac for doing basically all the work)
- Cartridge -> CIA dumper (thanks @ihaveamac for this, too)
- Dumping feature for Nintendo DS cartridges (thanks osilloscorpion & @idgrepthat)
- New CTRNAND transfer features - this will soon play a big role in downgrades and obtaining otp.bin (thanks @dark_samus3 for starting this, testing, and useful advice, also @al3x_10m for countless hours spent testing this)
- Improved warnings system with colored warnings and special warnings for A9LH critical operations
- New Any Padgen feature, allowing you to create any kind of XORpad
- New sleek 6x10 font (thanks dark_samus for the discovery and initial testing)
- New work folder system, main work folder is now /files9
- Fully updated readme file
- Countless smaller and bigger fixes and improvements
Release Note (2): The new main work folder is /files9, which will work with all of my tools (once updated, of course). The new game directory is /files9/D9Game. Older work folders still work (if the newer ones are not available), but it is encouraged you switch to the new work folder system.
Just a simple question: Why are you still using a 4GB SD?Decryp9 + A9lh = GAWD LIKE COMBO!

Proper title installation requires system functionality which is not available on ARM9. Maybe @Steveice10 can enable something like installation from carts. I doubt it is possible, though.Decryp9 + A9lh = GAWD LIKE COMBO!

There are infos on how to use D9 on various entrypoints in the readme. For A9LH, you're most likely using some kind of chainloader (Luma, f.e.) and I can't provide instructions for that. You know what would be really nice actual instructions for installation in the Readme >.>

That seems, to my somewhat ignorant eyes, a feature better implemented in FBI than Decrypt9. Unless there's something getting in the way of cart dumping while a FIRM is loaded.Proper title installation requires system functionality which is not available on ARM9. Hmm... Maybe it cans be implemented in FBI, but will only works on a <= 9.4 firmware (needs arm9 privileges to dump the cartridge). That seems, to my somewhat ignorant eyes, a feature better implemented in FBI than Decrypt9. Such access rights can always be granted by CFW on arm9loaderhax.Hmm... Maybe it cans be implemented in FBI, but will only works on a <= 9.4 firmware (needs arm9 privileges to dump the cartridge).
I thought we had no arm9 access on firmware > 9.4, even on cfw... Yep, the signature is disabled... But we haven't the control of the arm9... Right?Such access rights can always be granted by CFW on arm9loaderhax.
well FBI can dump the NAND from arm11 using some special permissions in the exheader that were found out. there could be one for raw gamecard access.I thought we had no arm9 access on firmware > 9.4, even on cfw... Yep, the signature is disabled... But we don't call the arm9... Right?
