Because they're the best of the best in the 3DS homebrew community. It makes sense they'd have a kernel hack. It would also help with disassembling the 3DS firmware.

I know. Earlier in the thread, I said that I'd be waiting for somebody else to release a kernel exploit. Thanks to the work smea does, that becomes more and more possible every day. So he is associated with it, either directly or indirectly depending on how you want to look at it.

Should be able to, but most of it will have to be updated to use DSP.

Trust me, it will, especially N3DS. The N3DS will give us 128MB of RAM in total to play with.
