There was also a spectacular live action, Japanese remake of the series starring Masataka Kubota as light.

Doubt that this american remake can top even the Japanese Drama, though. I'll give it a chance though, it might surprise me.

Sadly the cast isn't a good chocie, but maybe after all is a good show. We'll see..
