The way this is worded implies to me that you manually grabbed an update .cia and installed it with FBI or the like, was the update not available from a home menu popup?
Regardless, I'd suggest deleting the update data. The fact that the name of the game appears to be such a key detail makes me think update data might be treated weird though...

Technically, cryptocurrencies aren't illegal, as long as you don't use it for criminal activity. If you sign up with an exchange, and that they get a tip from law enforcement, they have the right to freeze your assets.+1
