The way this is worded implies to me that you manually grabbed an update .cia and installed it with FBI or the like, was the update not available from a home menu popup?
Regardless, I'd suggest deleting the update data. The fact that the name of the game appears to be such a key detail makes me think update data might be treated weird though...

dbhumx looks like an exploit name. We thought there was an exploit that nobody knew about when really it was a Dragon Ball thing
