CycloDS Evolution firwmare 1.13 released

Out now...

Team Cyclops have released v1.13 firmware for the CycloDS Evolution. This fixes a major bug in earlier firmware versions where, if a game tries to save and the micro SD card were full, the micro SD file system may have become corrupted. It's recommended that all CycloDS Evolution owners upgrade to v1.13.

  * Fixed a critical problem relating to game saves

  * Added partial Japanese GUI translation

  * Resolved compatibility issue with 1171

But they're not major updates, just bug fixes. So they're not going to take very long to devolop...

Once all the initial bugs are worked out the team can concentrate more on the major releases. The next release was planned to be major but a major bug came up and they fixed it within 24 hours.
Would you rather have a long wait in which many people's cards got corrupted (DS-X) or a quick but minor update that fixes tjhis bug?

Not in the next firmware release. I think.
I got this PM from TeamCyclops (I hope they don't mind me sharing)
TeamCyclopsWe wanted the next release to be a major update, but unfortunately this wont be possible. A few bugs have been found that need to get fixed, so next week we plan to do a release with fixes for those bugs along with the new features we currently have implemented. We're planning to support user created cheat codes, a better ingame menu (complete with multi-lingual support), cycling skins and maybe some more. The larger features such as slot2 intergration wont come until the next major release after the upcoming one.
