I'm currently trying to create a channel for "New Super Mario Bros." I tried testing it and it goes from the HBC right to the Wii Home page. So I figured it was working and I installed the channel. Now when I select the channel it goes black for a few seconds and then it goes back to the home page.

Can you help?

Hi WiiCrazy,

Would it be possible to add an option for ios that the channel will use? Now all channels created with Crap use ios35 but I think we need the option to use ios58. I tried using CustomizeMii to change my Netflix channel to use ios58 but it will not save because of errors. The first error was "You must enter a general Channel Title or on for each language". This error was because the Title had been entered in the English field only. I was able to get by this error by moving the Title from English to the All Languages field. The next error I could not solve. The error is "BannerMask16x9.brian is not a valid brian filename". If I had to guess it does not like the 16x9 part of the filename.

For the next release can you change the Title to use All Languages instead of English. Can you add an option to select the ios that the channel will use? I would guess you only need 35 and 58 for choices.

@MrGreg : Of course that's a possibility... I'll possibly add in the next version along with other ticket & tmd change stuff... Maybe time limited channel creation feature for those lazy enough to not install preloader and banner brick too...

Btw... Can anyone spot the banner bricker among these? It seems I need to update blocked games...

I got one for Mr WiiCrazy.

Kids got the Just Dance 2 game the other day.
Ripped it to HDD and initial startup via usb loader gx got "Can't Open Bigfile" error message.
Tried re-ripping same error.
Tried wiiflow it worked.
Updated gx from rev 843 to 943 and great all works.

Now, I've created plenty of channels over the times for the kids favorite games so I created a channel for Just Dance 2

Installed WAD ok, but get the "Can't Open Bigfile" after starting channel (you get the usual white warning screen for about 2 seconds then it flicks off to a black screen with the "Can't Open Bigfile" - using 249, anti-002 and I've always used cLoader1.6

I even tried loadstructor1.7 and exact same error message.

Works fine from the latest versions of usbloaders.

What can it be Mr WiiCrazy?

@WiiCrazy - you are the man..... Thank you very much.... The usb loader gx forwarder did the trick. I've always used cloader1.6 for all channels and never really knew exactly what the others did...
Thanks again.

Hi WiiCrazy!

Last night, I was trying to make a forwarder using the next settings:

- Forwarder: CFG USB Loader (no intro) with settings.cfg file:
- Device: SDHC, FAT32 (not wbfs).

When you load the game using the forwarder, it searches the game in the USB drive as default device, not in the SDHC card
unsure.gif
... I already set up the settings.cfg file using commands like partition=FAT1 and device=sdhc but that doesn't fix the issue
wtf.gif
... you always need to set up the game manually to make it work.

See ya!

Perhaps you need the command device=sd and not sdhc ?
I tried both commands, but they don't work

...

Basically, I need to load a game in WBFS format (game.wbfs) stored in a SDHC with FAT32 filesystem device using the game banner as forwarder. I tried many versions of CFG Usbloader with no luck. Some of help will be highly appreciated

Where do you think the issue is? Crap's forwarder or Cfg?
You can add debug=1 to the extra parameters and see for yourself if all those extra parameters are feed into cfg.

I think the issue came from Crap actually. I can load the game in CFG manually.

I added that command and I got this:

Code:
# Hidden Games: 1 __CF
args[0]:
device: 1
partition: FAT1

Press any button to continue...
I press any button and then:
Code:
FS: [ sd: ]

[ USB Mass storage device ]

[+] Mounting device, please wait...

After 30 tries it results an ERROR
blink.gif
... I see that it is actually looking for the game in the USB device, not into the SDHC device. These are my current settings on the config.txt file:
CODE
device=sdhc
partition=FAT1
I hope you can check the forwarder

@wiichoxp :
well debug alone seems to be transmitted so I don't think it's an issue with Crap, you don't seem to feed the correct arguments into Cfg...

are you doing it like this?
Code:
device=SDHC partition=FAT1 debug=1

Yes, but the commands don't work on "linear" mode. So I used this:
CODEdevice=SDHC
partition=FAT1
debug=1
But the issue continues

... if I load the game using a USB-FAT32 device it works, but it doesn't work using a SDHC-FAT32 card... it only works in the SDHC card if you manually set up the CFG app.

Well I'm talking about extra parameters in Crap, not cfg usb loader settings.

There are not extra parameters when you choose ConfUsbLoader.dol as loader

... could it be something wrong with Crap

?

Well it's normal, it's a standalone loader (actually exact copy of cfg usb loader) not a forwarder... You should use a forwarder.
