Hardware Connecting to open WiFi automatically ?

Hi,

Let's say I arrive at an airport with free, open WiFi. Will 3DS connect to this network automatically, or do I have to manually detect available networks, create new connection etc. ?

It will only abuse open hotspots for spot pass, otherwise it will only connect to defined hotspots.
