I don't think I can answer that satisfactorily as in the end it's up to you. If you really want the features that badly then update, if it's not urgent then hold off on it.

Is Gateway like "the one" as of today? Is R4i3DS good? Only R4i3DS is available here and Gateway is out of stock. Should I get R4i now or wait for Gateway to restock? PS. Gateway is $100 and R4i3DS is roughly $66. Very huge price difference.

R4i is unlikely to get any new features(it was just a clone of gateway), only real choice is between gateway or MT....personally I would say gateway

Thanks man. I'm on the edge of getting that R4i3DS this weekend but I guess I will wait for the Gateway to restock. The store said late May or early June. Argh the long wait starts now -_-

Quite a few places I would imagine are holding back on the gateway/MT card to shift their stock of the clone cards, have a look online if that's an option to you

or you can buy a mt card. It's a great flashcard for 3ds games too.
