Hacking Comparison of 3DS Flash Carts/Features - ON HIATUS (9/3)

QUESTION:

Do any flashcards enable you to rip a save from a game installed on your 3DS system and put it onto a legitimate game card, perhaps with the use of a PC? I was able to do this using the wireless network on my old DS (from one card to another card). I want to get a physical A Link Between Worlds copy basically 'cos I'm a lame person who has to have the physical media if possible in my collection, but already have it on my 3DS and would like to transfer said save when I get the physical copy down the line.

No cards can do that, maybe in the future it might be possible, but idk

OK, thanks for the reply! If there's no way to extract a save then I'll not bother with going for high scores and stuff on ALBW. A shame, cos I've loved playing it but I'll be really annoyed if I get a a high score and can't transfer it or beat higher than that on the card version. Unless there's another way?

I think before anything like this is possible, there will have to be a public way of decrypting/re-encrypting saves, only people who seem to have the method ATM are datel......and it's only to add cheats etc, no transferring saves between carts etc

PS the saves are actually saved on the SD card when using a flash card, so accessing them isn't really the issue, there is a few issues, but no point listing them, the simple answer is no methods to do what you want atm

so i want to ask,with my konsloe, can i play 3ds games, if i buy R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe Edition???

Because they're features of a flashcart. Whether or not it's publicly released is irrelevant. We have proof that the features work, so that should be reason enough. Besides, Gateway's releases have been beta for months. Why does it matter if it was supposed to be a private beta or a public one?

exactly not to mention it will probably play 100% ALL GAMES for a long time...until nintendo finds a way to block that..and even then gateway will more than likely update might take a while but clone carts even the mt are going to probably be left in the dust unless they figure out a way to copy gateway again

Nah mt card is a clone as well with a hardware button pretty sure people have proven that their last release was 2.02b with diagnosis disabled

- Unit is the highest priced of all other chips
- Some games currently do not work* *The games that currently do not work (Pokemon X/Y and Animal Crossing) are being worked on by the Gateway 3DS Team. The recently released beta firmware v2.0b2 brought emuNAND firmware playing and stability (allows a v4.5 console to emulate the latest firmware and still be able to visit the eShop).
