Oh ok, I thought you needed the 3in1 for some reason :P
So... can't you recharge the battery on the 3in1? How does the battery work tho XD Am I wasting battery if it is on the DS?

You can always open it and replace the battery.
The battery will die of old age normally, It doesn't matter what you do it will be probably be out of service in 5 years.

The battery in the 3in1 isn't rechargeable. It's a tabbed cr1220. The battery won't drain just because it's in the DS. The rechargeable ones drain the DS battery (like the ML1220 in a GBA Expansion pack) when the DS is on.

So the battery won't drain if I dont use it, correct?

Like Sarkwalvein alluded to, all batteries will gradually discharge over time. How fast depends on the chemical make-up of the battery. This is indicated by the discharge rate in the spec.

OK, so im getting the carts from here http://dsflash.es/ezflash/45-expansion-ezflash-3-in-1-blanco.html and here http://www.funtronik.com/prestafun/product.php?id_product=196. Everything should work right? No incompatibilities with R4 Wood and 3in1, right? I should be able to play all dem good RPGs and stuff :P The battery should run for 3 years minimum I guess.

Yes this combo is fine. As far as the battery in the 3in1 is concerned, it may be depleted when it arrives as it's all old stock. Some places check the batteries before they ship, and change them if they are flat to avoid returns.
If you're using Wood to launch GBA games, then patch non-sram roms with GBATA.

What consoles can I emulate with the R4? I can't find any information about that XD

You should generally check around the forums first, especially stickies. Anyway, here you go. It hasn't been updated in a couple of years, but besides a couple of projects like GameYob, there really hasn't been much these past couple of years, anyway.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
