Hacking Official CBHC v1.6 - ColdBoot HaxChi CFW

BTW guys I think I know what causes that weird cbhc corrupted installation... I describe my actions below.

I tried 3 times to delete haxchi and reinstall the DS game then install haxchi and then cbhc as I should do but it always freezed to me while installing without showing the flushing to nand message even if I had no usb device connected I even didn't have that error while I was installing haxchi but I always used mocha cfw + homebrew launcher rpx to access hbl and install haxchi and cbhc then I gave it a last try without loading mocha 1st. I shutdown my wiiu I deleted cbhc and haxchi, reinstalled the DS rom from eshop (dk jungle cimber) and launched the homebrew launcher 1.3 through loadiine.ovh to install haxchi and then again I launched hbl 1.3 through loadiine.ovh to install cbhc and boom it worked just fine with no freezes and it showed me the flushing to nand message to cbhc installation too.

I guess it's mocha cfw fault or hbl rpx fault... @FIX94

I doubt HBL RPX is to blame there. I updated CBHC from thete just fine, using CBHC system menu mode.

I exclusively use the channel version of hbl without any trouble at all for everything; why would you even run the installer with mocha? thats just dangerous asking for a brick.

I was just lazy to run loadiine.ovh so I launched mocha using haxchi before I uninstall it and I proceed without turning off the WiiU so it still had mocha cfw in the bg and I was launching hbc rpx to install haxchi and then cbhc x'D I was getting a black screen with no autoboot message and it was booting haxchi so I could go to hbl and uninstall cbhc so I experienced that rare case by my self .. you could test it to verify and maybe add a warming xD

Hey fix, since you just added the hbl2hbc app will this be implemented on coldboot since then we can finally boot into vWii again and also the vWii hbc?

How am I ruining shit for anyone?? I just think it's rude to ask the creator of an app to remove his name from it!

Just got installed CBHC, had an old Haxhi. On the menu, i put autoboot on system menu, should i use that option or i need to boot from fw.img. Looking forward for play eshop and dlc straigh on boot up

You'll have sigpatches enabled if you just autoboot into the system menu. That means you can install eShop titles and DLC directly after autobooting!

I really wish fix would start banning people from this thread that keep asking or SUPPORTING people who ask him to remove his name from CBHC. The source is on github compile it yourself or better yet build your own app from source. @FIX94 I see now why some dev's don't share. Bunch of ungrateful leeches...

no need for me to calm down as I'm not ampped, and no tits here if your looking for a women you should look somewhere other than the net. Get out your feelings "mate"... I honestly could care less about your comment or any comment for that matter but this thread is for asking/answering questions about CBHC. The OP said he was getting annoyed with people asking him to remove his name,(which you would know if you actually did read the thread) which could lead to him discontinuing development. That wouldn't be good for any of us users including you. (assuming your a user of the app as your posting on the thread) Also I tagged him as it was directed more to him than you.

Only one person mentioned the removal of his name, and it was long ago. The whole thing ended already and FIX94 said what he had to say to that user. It's like having a car accident happen, then reacting about it 2 weeks later. So why go on about it anymore?

I installed haxchi the old way through wupclient a while back. I decided to install coldboot haxchi last night & i've noticed a strange bug. If I boot into system menu my external hdd(external powered) is not recognized. But if I boot into rednand it works. It used to work on my system nand before coldboot. Very strange, anybody else hav this issue?

If your haxchi was on rednand then installing coldboot really won't work, it has to be on sysnand, both do. Then if you want you can get another ds title for haxchi and use that installed on rednand.

Maybe I should uninstall cbhc & re-install? I'll give that a go & report back.
