You only see the "Ask a Question" button in each individual category, not on the main page.

Example of what you should see when you enter a specific category:

Hope this helps!

Maybe you can only ask a question when you've hit 100 posts? (You're not that far off anyway)

Anyhow, that's likely the case.

Edit: The requirement is now only 5 posts.

It should be right under the GBAtemp.net logo. next to reviews and blogs. O_O
then click a category and ask a question button should show up.

Ah, I see you have 100 posts now. Can you see the "Ask a Question" button in the top-right corner now?

That's kinda bullcrap right? Why would we need to post a hundred times just to ask a question?
The information here is 2+ years old, so it's out of date and wrong.

You only need 10 posts to access the Ask section. This is done to prevent spambots from posting in the Ask section instead of just on the forums.

Ah... I get they need to prevent bots but like I'm not a social person nor any good with tech, that's kinda why I need to ask a question about tech . .' reaching 10 posts will be a bit of a challenge lol

I remember years ago while vacationing in Florida, was walking along the beach, and come along a group of naked people sunbathing, wouldn't have been bad but I had my 9yr old daughter w me. I didn't know then that they have nudist beaches down there. (St. Petersburg, FL) Not sure if still do, was 20 yrs ago.
