Hello

I modded my Wii and everything work as it should with New Super Mario Bros ––> When i click one the game the "pre-sceenery" comes up with mario and luigi etc who are running around. Then I press start and the game begins. So far, wonderful!

But ALL other games i try to play do not work (Zelda, Mario Galaxy etc). I can see the cover of the game, but when i click on it´s just black screen and the buttons "Settings" and "Start" in the bottom of the screeen. If i play Start I´m being sent back to the Wii menu. I googled soo many times now and i can´t find any solution. Please help.

(I checked all the game id:s and i checked that everything is done the same way as New Super Mario Bros.) I´m really confused here. Can someone please help me?

I use USB loader GX. I tried both flash memory and hard drive Fat32. And as i write. New Super Mario Boss do function.

Syscheck looks fine, make sure u have the latest usbloader gx from oscwii.org or @blackb0x 's signature.

If u have issues launching a game first try switching the game ios from 249 to 250 (or in rare cases 251).

Often it could also be a bad rip

Some games may require a couple other tweaks to run properly, but the ones u mentioned don't, and most don't need anything special. So I think most likely a bad rip

I do have the latest version, it´s 3,0 r1272, right?
I also tried now the different IOS 249, 250,251. What else can I do?

I don´t think it´s a bad rip cause i tried many different games.

Yes, the latest official release of USB Loader GX is v3.0 r1272 by cyan, the r1272 mod 7 by blackb0x. The latest is a inofficial updated version by blackb0x 3.1.1.1278-master (its just a tagged number, not related to a version)
and as he told me it can be grabed through the Open Shop Channel.

But it will not solve the problem, the mainly used cIOS should be the cIOS with base 57 (99% game support). But as there is maybe
  • a drive Problem (corrupted files, filesystem or sectors),
  • power problem of the drive (use Y- Cable).
  • Or as mentioned corrupted images (redump the image and do hash verification, and best use Wii backup manager, wbfs image is recommened),
  • Or its wrong game ID, path and wrong image name.
To identify if its a USB Loader GX specific problem Wii Flow Lite can be tryed to run those games.
