Hacking Badge Arcade Cheating with Gateway

The good news, is you don't lose the badges that exist in your badge box now. The bad news, is that if you have more than 1000 badges, you WILL lose whatever categories you put away for whatever the ban duration is. Additionally, if you reformat, you will lose all of you badges for good, as the possibility to redownload your badges is contingent of being able to connect.

(This could change in the future if nintendo realizes that they could let the connection go through long enough to erase everything earned, since they can't confirm what was earned legitimately and what was earned through cheating.

I found the Train address 368231DC for USA n3ds.. how can I calculate the Real? I see the excel has calculation but i dont know how to do it.

i just reached 1000 badges
and i love to give a note here : once you reach to 1000 badges , you can't store more in the home menu
you have enter to the badge arcade and re arrange your badges there.

so if you got banned , you wont be able to do that.

There is something you can do, though: Rearrange your badges, dump extdata, backup. Rearrange with Badge Arcade again, dump extdata, backup.
Should you get banned, you can restore one of your badgedata dumps.

That is why I said you can rearrange your badges and make another dump. Say you have 90 sets of badges on Badge Arcade, but can only keep 30 at a time. You can do this:

1. Dump extdata, save it on your computer. Now you have a backup of 30 sets of your badges.
2. Rearrange badges with Badge Arcade, get another 30 sets. Dump extdata, save it on your computer.
3. Rearrange badges with Badge Arcade once again, get the final 30 sets. Dump extdata, save on computer.

Should you want badges X and Y from two different dumps at the same time, you can rearrange it so you have them in a group of 30 sets and dump that.

Of course it's not ideal, but this way you essentially have access to all your badges. You just need to think about what sets you want at the same time and make dumps based on that.

I find out that adress 368253DC and 37249340 have stored the 8bit value for Badge Arcade Training left tries and 3646B2CC for actual game. This is europe version and did on n3ds. How do i make a cheat out of this, for example press L+R to get 10 tries

The real address for the N3DS was, like you said, 3646B2CC, and for O3DS, it was 3286B2CC. That address changed today, and now the O3DS address is 3286BBCC, which is why I said that the N3DS address is probably 3646BBCC.

In case you still can't see it, the 2CC at the end changed to BCC. It's a really really minor difference, so I understand your confusion, but there is a difference. Same thing with the practice code, with 3DC being changed to CDC.

JUICY INFO REPORT: (well not actually much yet, but still)

So I called in and got an update on the status of this error code and I actually got to speak with a higher up (ties with research team blah blah), and they told me it appeared under the BAN category. Mind you, they didn't tell me directly, I had to ask specifically. They are still researching whether or not "it was manual or automatic". They will call me back in regards to the status once it is discovered. The woman on the line then revealed to me what the outcome of stipulations would be. Basically it was: I don't get banned at all, I get banned for a little, I get fully banned, or it is an "exception" where they totally messed up. I tried to act as surprised as I could when the woman on the line said "it appears under the ban category, we don't understand why, we are still researching your problem" . Oh boy, let's hope that all this calling and playing up leads them to believe it was a fuck up on their side. As always, I will report more when I can!

Edit: I just thought I'd share this, damn there was some weird tension going on when I was talking to this higher up. It just felt like a lot of inside information was being held from me, unless I specifically asked, and that just made me feel uncomfortable. I tried my best to act all "buddy buddy" and it just felt like I was talking to this dead serious woman. I don't know, I guess what i'm trying to get across is that it was awkward.

On the call I was told that, basically, it was decided that I was permanently banned for cheating with the software, which broke the user agreement. I was given zero information outside of that. No redemption, straight up perma'd. So, let this be of knowledge to others. If you cheat on badge arcade you will be permanently banned. (at least confirmed if you are in the U.S., I don't know about other regions specifically). So what you can do is either don't cheat at all, or go on a cheating marathon, getting as many badges as you can before the ban!

It's the same in the UK ...pretty sure it will be a worldwide ban.
I was unable to get anything out of them also ...for now it just seems to be a ban from Badge Arcade, but who knows???
