Hey guys...I just wanted someone to suggest me one or two RPGs that are worth playing on the PSP...I've looked around the forums but didn't find anything interesting... I've already got the games mentioned below but haven't played all of them, so please suggest what should I play next or even recommend a new one that isn't on the list:
1)Final Fantasy 1
2)Final Fantasy 2
3)Final Fantasy 3
4)Final Fantasy 4: Complete Collection
5)Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core
6)Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep: Final Mix
7)Monster Kingdom:Jewel Summoner
8)Crimson Gem Saga
9)Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony
10)One Piece: Romance Dawn (It has been recently released in Japanese)
11)Breath of Fire
12:Final Fantasy Tactics:The war of the lions
13)Class of heroes
14)Mana Khemia: Student Alliance
15)Persona 3 Portable
16)The Legend Of Heroes: Trails in the sky
17)Lunar Silver Star Harmony
18)Brave Story New Traveler
19)Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology
20)Tales of Eternia

Thank you! ^_^

Phantom Brave is great, but not something that you should go into if you've never played an SRPG (especially an NIS SRPG), or aren't confident in their mechanics.

I have played Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for the PSP and Fire Emblem for the GBA...Does that count?

Phantom Brave is different in terms of unit allocation (amongst other things). You conjure up your units for a set period of time and then they disappear. I'd still recommend that you play Disgaea prior to PB, purely to get a grip on NIS' over the top mechanics, but it's definitely worth a try.

jeanne d'arc - tactical rpg.
Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone - tactical rpg.(aftyer playing this one i want to play the games of dept. heaven http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dept._Heaven)
I have played Ys 7....Awesome game, and awesome music! :yaypsp:

Fate/Extra has a unique story and battle system, I had a lot of fun but it does have a lot of reading.
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky was also recieved pretty well, but I didn't think it was that great, you could still give it a shot.
Final Fantasy Type-0 is there but it is in Japanese only.
Persona 2 has an amazing story but combat is very dated.

Hexyz Force or Star Ocean but that's just from a list I found. I haven't played many PSP RPGs yet since I just bought a PSP less than a month ago.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
