I emailed the ammiqo people about becoming a reseller. It appears to be made by a company called chinadistrib They responded telling me that it will be released in the first week of August, and that they would keep in touch. Seems legit, so hope they keep in contact.

Edit:
I got an email back saying the retail price.... Its kind of disappointing........ 79.95 for the first 2 months.

I also emailed the supplier to try to get the wholesale price and minimum order.
If you order wholesale it will still cost 56.50 and the minimum order would be 5 units. One good thing about that would be if 5 people got
together and bought them, you could save a little money.

Interesting concept if you like to take your Amiibo anywhere outside of your home, or even if you have a lot of kids (or one destructive one). If I didn't have them just for their looks I'd probably consider this.

Wait.... A MONTHLY PLAN?

Meh, five minutes and it'll be cracked. A one time price is fair though. Don't really understand why we would need this. Can't we just copy amiibo data to an NFC/RFID tag using an NFC enabled Android? It's probably not that simple, I know. Never really understood it.

I think you misread the second email. What they said is that stocks would be limited during the first 2 months of its lifespan. There's no monthly plan in terms of price, just production it seems.
