Its true...too bad that 3DS mode has yet to be hacked so we can use codes for games like Super Mario 3D Land and OoT 3D.

I'm glad it's not for 3DS games, the last thing I want is Mario Kart 7 to have cheaters like Mario Kart DS did.

+1 to that, Mario Kart DS is unplayable online because of that crap. I'm all for things like unlimited lives in mario, but the online cheating in games is ridiculous.

Leave it to Datel to not make it so clear that cheats won't work for the 3DS side of things.

They pulled this shit with the Action Replay Max Duo in the past, it did support GBA cheats and DS save backups, but not DS cheats.

I really hate Datel, actually. I bought a gamecube action replay that works on the Wii, even came with a memory card in the package, only to find out all of the cheats are not only hard-coded into the disc, but cannot be changed at all. Can't add your own codes or delete the ones you don't need. Seeing as the old Gamecube AR made use of the memory card to store codes, this was deceptive.

Great. Why not update the firmware on the Action Replay DSi? No! We need to make money, so lets make a new cheat device that doesn't help make cheats for games on the console it's made to run on, but can still cheat on previous games!

Whats the point in this, u can use cheats on any flashcart nowadays. so this is useless shit.

You can cheat on flash carts, but you can't cheat on retail games you actually own without this, and if you can't backup your game and/or save for that game to play on the flashcart, then your out of luck. You wouldn't be able to get something in your save that you really want but can't get through any other way besides cheats.

You do know that there are retail copies of those games floating around, right?

I agree with you, but for a different reason. If you really must cheat, find an easier game.

there are generally acceptable limits for cheating, like if you're forever alone and can't get online-only/trade-only stuff, but cheating online is a big no-no.

i doubt Datel would be able to make one for 3DS games though, seeing as there's still no hack of the 3DS mode yet.

You can't use Nitrohax on DSi or later, they cut power to the cart slot, so you can't swap carts.
now nuff said.
