Hacking Able to move all Wii Games/Saves to USB drive on Wii U + USB Loading

I have an original Wii system with about 15 games on a USB drive. I just bought a Wii U with 8 games from a co-worker. I have spent the past couple hours skimming threads on the available exploits for Wii U, but I couldn't seem to find a straight answer. I would also like to install the 8 retail Wii U games onto a USB hard drive.

Is it possible to bring all my (original) Wii games + saves over to a new USB drive to use on the Wii U in addition to installing Wii U games on? Or do I need to use 2 separate USB drives?

I am also open to buying a large SD card if I can have the Wii U or Wii games running on that, since a 256 GB card can now be had for < $90!

2 drives is the best way. Wii loading from SD doesnt work very well, and you will probably find even a 256gb card is too small for WiiU games.

They cant share the same drive unfortunately.

Thanks! I'll do some research on how to do this while maintaining separate drives if possible.
