I would punch a cute baby in the face in exchange for a good monster train port on switch.

Love that game, but it not worth power up my 1000w thing and wait for 5 minutes of ineficient software to start up just to play it.

I find these showcases odd, as the Switch is basically an indie fest.
Most of the software on the eShop is already made by small devs, anyway.
It wod be better if they made these kind of presentations monthly to inform about the upcoming releases, as the eShop is painful to browse and find anything there is worthy of an achievement.

Can't await for the indie game Breath of the Wild 2 to be showcased!! I also heard the small developer platinum games is going to release a trailer for Bayonetta too!

Yeah, another one of those weird flexes where nintendo starts bragging about 60 fps of widescreen gba tier games running on the switch.

It's time for some indies. A Nintendo Indie World Showcase livestream has been revealed, and will be taking place tomorrow at 9am PT. As usual, the showcase will consist of around 20 minutes of upcoming indie titles that are headed to the Nintendo Switch.

Oh fun! I love indie games personally so I'm gonna have to go check it out!

I generally don't watch these for a different reason than most: almost all the games are already available on Steam, and I tend to already own more than a few of 'em. With Steam Deck coming it's no longer necessary to double dip. Maybe we'll get one or two Switch exclusive indies though, who knows.

I and Hayato warned him not to, but he won't listen

    @BigOnYa,
I don't listen? What didn't I listen at? I just want to know all the possible risks on that part
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
Hayato even said it's dangerous to backup the save files to CFW
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
how is this dangerous? A ton of people did this it's the most common thing to do with CFW

    Then do it

Not trying to hate, I tried to help you in the switch noob thread by asking for you, but you don't want to accept the answers you got, so do whatever then.

@BigOnYa, Man, first of all thanks for your willing to help, much appreciated. But, it's not that I "don't want to listen", rather than I need soemone to EXPLAIN to me how and why all these are risky.

For example, HOW is is risky to get banned if you extract the save files to the CFW?
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
isn't this proccess be done while you're offline?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
We are not Nintendo, so we don't know exactly how/why/when they ban, but better to stay on the safe side and not do shady stuff, if you don't want to be banned. Hayato is one of the most knowledgeable ones here on the subject and I believe what he says.

  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
@BigOnYa, Yes ofc we don't know how Nintendo bans work, but if there are situations where a lot of people have tried safely then we can at least assume that this path is pretty much safe. To say don't try anything homebrew relative just to be safe forever is the easiest thing to say to someone. What I am trying to figure out here is with which cases and what actions got most of the people their bans for.
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
Most things I can find resulting to a ban is save-editing reasons, like Pokehex, etc, and going online afterwards.
