I'm pretty sure you meant firmware. But in any case, it's illegal to distribute BIOS or firmware. Also, remove the link from your quote.

Edit: I would also like to point out that even if you own a real ds, it is still illegal. This means that you will have to dump your own BIOS and/or firmware from your own ds.

Someone put the following code up on -snip- under a torrent. Doesn't seem to work for me on my R4 with Ys menu, but maybe it works for someone else. All it makes my game do is make Link not respond to the stylus.

Its firmwareI'm not sure of the legality of the "firmware.bin" file.
If it's Nintendo's firmware dumped from a DS, then you can't distribute it.
However, if it's a custom firmware written to function in the the same way, it's fine.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Zelda series, and have bought just about every game to have come out including the CDi games (I'm missing a few games, like the original FamiCon discs) and the only game I've regretting buying is Phantom Hourglass.
Since this is a direct sequel to PH, I'm reserving my judgment (and money) on the game til I've played it.

Are you serious? You are pretty much saying that the CDi games are better than PH in your opinion. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE

Because the CDi games have more depth than:
Go to Lv1 of the dungeon... get an item... go on your boat...
Go to Lv2 of the dungeon, passing Lv1... get an item... go on your boat...
Go to Lv3 of the dungeon, passing Lv1 and 2... get an item... go on your boat...
Go to Lv4 of the dungeon, passing Lv1 and 2 and 3... get an item... go on your boat...
etc etc etc...
