So i recently bought a 2ds and out of the box, the firmware is 6.0 what should i do with this now?

You're thinking of the cart manufacturer part. The header itself can start with anything.

I'm stuck at "Do Part 5 - arm9loaderhax" part... I copied everything to the directories the guide specifies, renamed files etc. But when I lunch SafeA9LHInstaller from Homebrew menu i get an error msg:

An error occurred while loading the payload.
Make sure your launcher is located at:
/SafeA9LHInstaller.dat

Checked everything three times, I really have no idea what I might have done wrong. Need help from you guys :/

Followed Plailect's guide and so far I've configured the Luma by holding select while booting, but when I try to open Hourglass9, while holding Start it just shows a black screen. The payloads are in the correct directory luma/payloads and I've renamed them correctly. What to do?

Do you definitely have safea9lhinstaller.dat in your root?

I somehow managed to get through my problem. I have no idea what happened, tried a few times and suddenly it just worked with no error. I did not change anything 0_0

I opened menuhax_manager and it tells me if I want to skip robin-payload.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong to get R4 (Original) or ACE3DSPLUS to work on CFW? I am using a non-SDHC 2gb Fat 16, drag the files to the microSD which i put in the R4/card, the slot pic stays blank, I've tried the various .cia's (r4 and wood) but they dont read the card, just give a blank message window when i pres on the MicroSD icon within the launchers (which is there when I load it whether the cart is in the slot or not)

This isn't really newbie, but I don't know where else to ask. I have a hacked 3ds from before a9lh with reinand. I havem't had any issues playing the latest games on an updated EMUNAND. Should I even bother with A9LH? I think I use Menuhax (holding L when booting) to boot into emunand and it works fine.

You don't have to, but you'll get 100% boot rate, and possibly future-proof your CFW.

Here's an old version of braindump. Why old? The newer version gives you a .cxi file, which you then have to extract further. The old version does not do that. You launch it from the Homebrew Launcher. My copy of Birthright took awhile to dump.

I have one simple question. I have a fully updated New 3DS, is there any way of using a flash card to play REGULAR DS games on it? No need for 3DS game compatibility, just regular DS, played on my new 3DS. If so, what flashcard would be best for this?

By any chance does anyone have a 10.3E n3ds backup I could tinker with? I bricked my home menu a while ago and need help fixing it. I've tried a number of things that @Shadowhand and I have thought of. I can't even restore an old backup and use the Friends List. If someone has a backup, I would be so grateful.

R4GOLD3DS will work I believe. I think they stopped patching flashcards since 9.0

I need help

I am following part one of this guide https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Homebrew)
and when i extracted the starter.zip folder to the root of my 3ds. I then went ahead to this website(http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php) after changing the date and time. As well as after clearing the browser saved data,

But instead of loeading the homebrew menu instead i got a black and red screen. Red on bottom

What did i do wrong?

Also is my SDHC cards media protection supposed to be on or off whenever i send the files to the root of my 2ds.

Also i move the Starter folder to the root of the 2ds right? or do i move the contents of the starter folder to the root of my 2ds?
