Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hello everyone, i just bought an old 3DS and i have been trying to hack it all day using Github's guide: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-3-(A9LH) , and im currently stuck on the part where it says "Go to http://dukesrg.github.io/2xrsa.html?arm11.bin on your 3DS"

I don't get an error, or a glitched screen or anything, i just go into the specified page and i get a frozen screen and that's it, i tried to do it several times and is always the same, any help?

Might be a connection problem, as someone here get that problem too, and he fixed it by changing to other network.
Sorry for not giving a better solution, but it is the best i can think of.

currently on version 10.7 and the guide suggests smilehax as one of the entrypoints but just found out about steelhax and seems a bit easier. would steelhax work as a way to install a9lh instead of smilehax if on o3ds version 10.7? I'm assuming browserhax doesn't work on 10.7. Thanks

Yes, I believe you can use steelhax to downgrade your system to 9.2 and continue with Plailect's guide.

Steelhax needs another entrypoint to set up, however. It's not a primary exploit.

Actually I just realized I'm pretty much stuck without a cart entrypoint. I'd have to update my firmware in order to use the eshop

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it's patched on 10.7. i don't think there is any other way

Then you probably should update your console. But be aware that in order to downgrade your 3ds you either have to hardmod your 3ds or have another 3ds that's already hacked.

ill probably try and find the cheapest cart from the suggestions to continue the guide so I dont have to update

Could that be so? i dont think i have a conecction problem but is worth a shot, i'll see if it works and then come back.

EDIT: Tried using my mobile data but the same happened.

I just realised another problem whenever i try to exit the 3DS's internet browser the 3DS ALSO freezes, know any such issues? problably that is what is causing my problem.

Don't install Time Machine, it will brick your console. If you are already on Gateway, that's as far as you can go with it safely.

Im confused. i have read the above guide but if understood correct its not for Gateway. What i want to do is to use gateway without the need to open the browser everytime, justo to boot into gateway mode directly

Install a9lh using the guide I quoted (without the space that I accidentally inserted). Then follow https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-using-luma3ds-with-gateway-on-v2-a9lh.431691/ to get Gateway to work with it.

Hi. Im on n3ds downgrading from 11.1.0.34u to 9.2.0.20u with hardmodding. I tried install luma3ds and a9hl using plailect guide but currently stuck here because during config screen(luma3ds) and install screen(a9lh) i cannot select any option. Both not recognize my input. Already stuck here almost 2 weeks. If anybody face this problem and already overcome it ,pls help me. Any also can take any suggestion from others. Thanks

By the way,can this problem occured because of hardware/soldering faulty?(coz im downgrade by hardmod)

If you're on 11.1, your only hope is to know someone with an already hacked 3ds. Otherwise, you're screwed
