Hi guys. If i have a 3DS with A9LH, V 11.1 and a downloaded game grom eshop(Pokemon, Not a legit download, someone did it for me) is there a way to extract the save file and edit it with Pkhex and put it back?

I know i can do this with a original game or a flashcard, but what about downloaded games?

It will work the exact same way as an original game. You could also use PCHex++ which would allow you editing your save directly on your 3ds

If you have pre-downloaded an update (Nintendo does that >_>)
And you attempt a Cart Update (Let's say a 9.2 update on cart)
Will it update to 11.1 or will it update to 9.2?

What about using 3DS Download Play? As that can update your 3DS aswell depending on what firmware the other 3DS has you're connecting to.
Will it update to (Let's say 9.2) or does it use the pre-downloaded 11.1 from Nintendo?

I'm not sure, but you can clear the predownloaded update by going into the recovery menu then selecting cancel.

Hello, i've got a question.
I've tried to start a game on Gateway Emunand 11.1.0, but i only get a black screen after i start the game and the 3ds logo vanishes.
Has anyone got an idea?

I've been trying to install Luma3ds with no luck.

Backstory - Literally recieved a New 3ds XL yesterday with 9.9. Downgraded it to 9.2 using OOT3DHax. After that, I installed Menuhax. Tried to use this guys guide for Luma3DS . Did everything he did and when it boot into menuhax, it showed " An error has occured while loading the payload ". I was using the latest version of Luma 3ds if that helps. If anyone needs to see my sd card setup to help, I would gladly assist. I'm just trying to install Luma3ds so I can test out freeshop

Do you have a noscreeninit or screeninit a9lh?
If it is noscreeninit, maybe you're thinking it's not booting, when in fact it's still playing the animation.
You could try changing to screeninit if that's the case.

It depends on when you installed a9lh.
If you installed a9lh with merged screeninit and noscreeninit, renaming arm9loaderhax bin with arm9loaderhax_si usually works.

Yes, but I mean, because of the different voltages, they could be toast if that's the case unless it's safe to use ^^

It is a O3DS on OFW 4.5 with rxtools 2.6 and emunand 9.9.
It seems alot has changed since then and I am wondering if anyone could guide me to which CFW I should upgrade to
and how to do so. I would also like to keep my old game saves if possible and move to a larger sd card.

The voltages should not be an issue since its the same hardware across regions.

Hello everyone, i just bought an old 3DS and i have been trying to hack it all day using Github's guide: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-3-(A9LH) , and im currently stuck on the part where it says "Go to http://dukesrg.github.io/2xrsa.html?arm11.bin on your 3DS"

I don't get an error, or a glitched screen or anything, i just go into the specified page and i get a frozen screen and that's it, i tried to do it several times and is always the same, any help?

currently on version 10.7 and the guide suggests smilehax as one of the entrypoints but just found out about steelhax and seems a bit easier. would steelhax work as a way to install a9lh instead of smilehax if on o3ds version 10.7? I'm assuming browserhax doesn't work on 10.7. Thanks
