What about the regular Sky3DS (not +, that you need DiskWriter for)?
Sky3DS has no way to access the SD card of the 3DS, unless I've missed something major??

The cartridge itself? No, almost certainly not. Will it be region free?
...
*IF* it is cheaper than a plain Sky3DS plus $10 (for the ntrboot cart) then I concede there will be some merit for people that would have bought a Sky3DS anyway.
I get this card on 3ds-flashcard store with only paying $91, and shipping is from America with USPS. The only problem is that I have to wait one more week when Stargate 3ds is released, they must ship the cards to their warehouse firstly.God this is expensive, cost 140$ in my place, so neh, ill pass. Id rather buy a cheap r4 card and flash it with ntrboothax and a 256gb micro sd card with that kind of price.
Also the site tells me Stargate 3ds will be finally out within the following 1 to 2 weeks
This time they maybe tell me the truth, just view the site and find that they add some new pictures of Stargate 3ds there , there are 2 white buttons on the card and there is an usb reader in the package. It will probably say the same thing in another two weeks :-p
damn, those buttons looks mushy and bad (from the first picture), i hope they are just plastic and not easy to react to simple touch. This time they maybe tell me the truth, just view the site and find that they add some new pictures of Stargate 3ds there , there are 2 white buttons on the card and there is an usb reader in the package.
It"s possible to play some out of region games through the Homebrew Launcher with the Region Free Launcher and with HANS.
It is finally coming, check the news from official site.
"We are happy to announce that the first Stargate units have been shipped today to selected reviewers. You should see the first reviews online end of this week, which we hope will show you more of the Stargate amazing features and its ease of use.
Stargate 3DS is fully upgradable. It comes now with its first firmware which reviewers will cover. Our support team will release updates to improve our product. Customers’ support is a priority to us. Stargate will be fully supported and the most advanced 3DS flashcard for the years to come.
The first DS menu system files are already available in our download section. Original firmware 1.0 is pre-installed on the cart itself.
First retail copies are being sent to vendors next week. We are doing our best to ensure enough stocks for Christmas delivery. But remember most resellers work on a first come-first served basis, so we strongly advise to place your order now to guarantee a Christmas delivery as demand is very high!
We will publish here some review links. We very much look forward to them and to your feedback. Do not hesitate to email us to request extra features, suggest improvements or anything else. Technical support and quality update service are very important to us. You can find our contact details here.
Best regards
Stargate 3DS Team."

Gateway 3ds is also with a real cheap price now.Gateway should allow trade in with their red carts to discount users for this, since they did a golden runner and resurfaced as Stargate instead.
