Try putting your system to sleep with the wifi on and you should get an update notice in a few moments. That should restore your twl firm.

Make sure you have luma3ds installed or you could remove your cfw by doing this

thank you and i also have news my 3ds sees the r4 but when I open it only white screens.... any ideas?other wise i will just let my r4i rest in peace after 4 years of constant use on a ds lite

Still no good any thing else in store for me to try?(the flash cart still does not work I only get white screen)

Does anyone have any idea if gateway is actually going to ever update their flashcart and when might that update happen? Getting tired of checking their page every day

Anyway I'm still good on a lower firmware, but I'm getting tired of the update message popping-up on EMUNAND...

Apparently there was supposed to be news at the end of April but nothing came of it.
If you don't mind me asking, what do you still use your gateway for?

I just like that I have 2 SD cards to launch games... I have a 32GB MicroSD on the gateway full and a 16GB SD also full for emunand CIA games\apps... I also like the cheat menu from it and having two separated ways to start games, one have to be installed and the other just need to press the buttons and chose the game...

Some I have installed and some I just download the .3DS and put on the Micro SD

ps: Gateway rarely fails to start and I dont care much having to waste only like 10 seconds to go to gateway launch and wait just a few seconds to load... Specially because I also dont use the 3DS much, its not a big deal for me having faster boots as long as its working. And I also like having the original Firmware untouched.

I could use some help.

I haven't used my 3DS in a few months, and when I stumbled on it, it hadn't been touched since around February. When I picked it up, I noticed that it still had my DSTWO+ flashcart in it. What luck! Anyhow, I turned it on, and all my stuff was still there, except my flashcart isn't being detected by my 3DS. Yes, I have tried all the guides for reseating your cartridge/SD card, and plugging it into my computer works just fine. This is also not a firmware issue, as it's on the latest firmware. Nothing has changed since the last time it worked, so I'm wondering what I can do about it.

I have tried cleaning the contacts and all that as well. Any other ideas/things to try?

Open GodMode9, reinsert the cart, see that it fails to init and buy an R4ids.cn
